The Protea Owl Foundation has been a cooperative agreement partner for the U.S. Embassy in South Africa on a few of their education & cultural programs since 2019.

Namely, The Protea Owl Foundation is the program facilitator for their EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program.
​
In the last year, the Protea Owl Foundation has become a solid logistical partner for the U.S. Embassy on several cultural events and its flagship scholarship, the Fulbright Foreign Student & Scholar programs.

Global Youth Advisors Network
In the year 2021, a program was launched in partnership between CIEE, EducationUSA, and Awesome Travel with the primary objective of providing assistance to the youth of South Africa in gaining access to both study and exchange opportunities through start-up businesses in the international education and exchange space. The ultimate aim of this program was to help these start-ups get off the ground and become self-sustainable organizations or businesses. After a successful collaboration, the partnership came to an end in July 2024. As a direct result of this venture, the Protea Owl Foundation has been firmly established as a successful non-profit company.
